What’s your favorite race? Vermillion Olympic Triathlon. When I was a little girl my family used to vacation at Linwood Park so it’s special for me to be able to race there. It looks just the same as it did in the early 70s.
How do you relax? A good glass of wine!
Tell a little about yourself: I was a competitive swimmer as a kid, started running in college and had been on a bike before… so, I signed up for my first triathlon in the early 90′s out of college. I loved it but realized I needed a serious training plan. For many years I only competed in one event per season, typically the Cleveland tri downtown. I took a two year break from triathlons to run marathons but, came back to the sport I love most. Now, I am competing in 5-6 multisport events per season. I never thought I would do a 70.3 but, I completed my 3rd one this past year (REV3) with the help of our team!
