Honestly, when you’re racing in beautiful weather at Put-in-Bay, your finish time and place are at the back of your mind.

Tim’s race report said: “Time: 22-23ish. Place: uncertain.”  I figure that may have something to do with the post-race festivities, though. Click through to see a photo of all the Cleveland racers and read Tim’s report.

…and Tim’s brief report:

The island circuit is now complete! Having done the 10k on Kelley’s Island in June and Saturday’s 5k on Put in Bay, Kelley’s gets the nod for the ‘preferred island race’. That having been said, taking into consideration the whole day’s activities, both are likely to be repeated next year. I’m also considering making it an international racing circuit and hitting Pelee Island next year.
