This Saturday, the Half Ironman World Championships takes place in Clearwater, FL. Jim Lamastra, his Shiv, and thousands of other triathletes will tackle the course in with the hope of tasting sweet victory. As the Ironmen and women race for the water, Clevelanders will be running the steps at the Q. On Sunday morning, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host the Climb for Life. Competitors in this chip timed event will race up and down the steps of the Q. Each climber will be sent off individually starting at 9:00 a.m. Also on Sunday, race #9 of the Northeast Ohio CX series will be held at Coulter Ave. Park in Euclid. The weather should be nice…can’t ask for much more in November.
