This weekend is packed with races of all kind.
The action begins on Saturday with the State Road Race Championships. Racers will tackle a rolling 9 mile loop through the Amish countryside for 75 miles. The pain is worth it to get a crack at the state champion jersey!
On Sunday, the local triathlon season begins. You can race the ONE Triathlon in North Lawrence or Wendy’s Triathlon in Lewis Center. If you’re swimming isn’t quite up to par the Lions Bi/Du could be the perfect race for you.
Some SSSMSTers will be riding in Cleveland’s Touring Club, Sunday in June. This 25, 50, 63 or 100 mile ride takes cyclists through the fourth largest Amish settlement in the world and welcomes all cyclists from avid to recreational. So pick your distance and join the 800 expected participants.
