There is a lot going on this Father’s Day weekend. Perhaps one of the biggest events is Maumee Bay Tri/Du on Sunday. This race has long been a favorite and always serves as a good litmus test or a rude awakening for the upcoming season. Another notable event is the 34th annual Camelback Run in Fremont, OH. Three time Olympian and US National Champion Suzy Favor-Hamilton will be speaking at the expo and participating in race day activities. If the runners at the local races are not hard-core enough….you will find them at the Mohican 100. This four loop race on the mountain bike trails at Mohican state park only draws the toughest of tough. If you’re in for the long haul, Mohican is the place to be. If you want to avoid the pounding on your legs, there are two criterium races this weekend….one in Canton and one in Wooster.
