Even though it may not seem like it, it’s that time of year again. The most suited race for our winter weather is the Lake Metroparks Winter Biathlon. In a biathlon you ski…..shoot at a target (standing) …..ski…….shoot (kneeling)……ski…..shoot (lying down)….ski. The order and amount of shooting may vary but you get the gist. Unfortunately, registration closed yesterday. If you aren’t registered, you can still ski but will not be able to race. Also on Saturday is the Frostie Toes Road race. This event could be canceled so make sure to check www.tacosports.org before you journey to Croton, OH. Finally, on Sunday, the “You’ll Wish you Stayed in Bed” Vulture’s Knob Training Series will take place at…….(you guessed it) Vulture’s Knob.
