The Spin/Second Sole Multisport Team racked up some impressive early season results this past Sunday at the Buzzard Duathlon in Hinkley. Winning overall with a blistering time was Frank Pattison, who was joined by nine other teammates and Chris Steffens of the Spin Racing Team. Andrea Lamastra took 2nd for the women’s race, and every other team member earned a podium spot in age group awards. We were proud to see team sponsor and athletic supporter extraordinaire Bill Deeter as the honorary starter! Aaron Rood had a strong first run, but flatted early in the bike for an early end to a promising start. Props to Rick Caldwell and NCN Racing for a great event, and congratulations to all the competitors. Finally, thanks to spouses and dogs who came to cheer!
