Wildflower Long Course Triathlon, Lake San Antonio, CA. Our resident globetrotting triathlete, John Willse, was in California this weekend for the Wildflower Triathlons Festival. From the plane home, he said “it was the hardest course I’ve ever done. Coupled with 25-35mph winds it was crazy but also the best atmosphere you could imagine.” We await his full report!
Silver Springs Duathlon, Stow OH. Swimming superstar Lauren Trocchio can’t wait for events that start in the water, but showed impressive early season form on land to take 2nd overall at the Silver Springs Duathlon on Sunday. She reported that the race featured “rolling hills and lots of wind, but for a rough training week and really really wishing I could swim the first part, I still enjoyed myself!” Congratulations to Lauren!
