The team had a successful weekend racing in the bake oven of Maumee Bay. Andrea Lamastra won the international triathlon, and Aaron Rood won the sprint duathlon. Jim Lamastra was our top finisher in the men’s international tri, finishing 9th overall in 2:09 despite jogging the run to take care of a recovering stress fracture. This marked this season’s first outing for Paul Lentini, who had a great race in the sprint traithlon. Scott Zubricky, Sean Payton, Marty Mason, Kevin Krol, Joe Bush, Lauren Trocchio, and Jenn Davila also raced; a fantastic showing for our team!
