Anyone who has tried to work on a bicycle in the last twenty years has benefited from the contributions of Sheldon Brown to the cycling community. His astonishingly vast knowledge of parts, tools, techniques, and bicycles was carefully documented at his web site, where you could find information on all things bike. Apparently, the heart attack he suffered last night was unrelated to his progressive Multiple Sclerosis. He will certainly be missed.
