You couldn’t have asked for a better day on Saturday for the 22nd annual Chili Bowl 5k. For the first time the race was held downtown, on a course that started behind Tower City, and ran in to Ohio City and back.
Temperatures were in the low twenties, but it was a bright sunny day for anyone who could still see colors after running over the bridges, and finishing up Huron Rd. Bruce MacDonald took fourth in his age group, besting Andy Cornwell by a fraction after the two ran shoulder to shoulder for the whole distance. Tim Walsh was the next team finisher, followed closely by Brandy Smith, Joe Bush, Paul Lentini, and Mary Davis.
