First, two results from the weekend of the 7th: Mary Davis won her age group at Champ’s NEO Kickoff triathlon, and Brian Stern won the Ohio State Masters 10k Championship overall. Excellent stuff!
On Wednesday night, Brian had recovered enough to win the Masters (and take 5th overall) at the Flag Day 5k in Mentor by cracking off a 16:34.
This past weekend, Marty Mason won the Flag City Multisport Festival’s Olympic distance triathlon on Saturday, continuing a fantastic summer of racing. He rewarded himself by picking up a new cyclocross bike on Sunday from Spin! Brian raced again on Sunday, at the Willoughby Duathlon, where he picked up 2nd overall.
Overall, a very impressive few weeks!
