This weekend, northeast Ohio’s top triathlon is in town!
The Greater Cleveland Triathlon is the area’s biggest and best event. The weekend starts off on Saturday, with the Youth Triathlon, kicking off at 8am. The rest of the day on Saturday features an Expo with a great selection of local sports vendors… and the SSSMST! We have a booth in the expo, so make sure you stop by and say hello. We’ll have a grill going around lunchtime, so bring some lunch and hang out.
If you’d like to do an easy ride, SSSMST will be heading out on an easy spin for an hour or so at 9:30. Join us!
Saturday is also the only day for packet pickup, so if you’re racing, make sure you get out there between 10am and 6pm!
The big race is Sunday! With three distances this year– a sprint, an olympic, and a Half-Iron– there’s something for everyone and the transition area should be very busy! The first wave, an open wave for elite athletes, goes off at 7:00am. Check our calendar or the GCT website for wave start details, and to see what we’ll be up to this weekend.
