In a stunning act of disregard for his own sanity, Scott Zubricky ran the Buckeye Trail Winter 50k this weekend. The race starts and finishes at Boston Store, and has three levels of nuttiness: the half-marathon, marathon, and bat-crap crazy 50k.
Scott ran 6:23 and finished 15th overall in his first attempt at the 50k distance. Whenever I’m thinking of skipping a winter training run from now on, I’ll think of Scott and this race… and I’ll probably get off the couch.
