This weekend we have another slew of 5k’s. On Saturday, the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation will host the Hemophilia Red Derby 5k and 2 mile walk. Don’t want to run the 5k? The walk is free of charge! The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is hosting a 9k which supports Maggie’s Place, a community that provides houses of hospitality for pregnant and parenting women who are alone on the streets. The Valley City Street Fair has a 5k along with 3 full days of events like a big wheel rally, pie eating contest, an auction and nightly concerts. Akron is the home to an Xterra trail run this weekend if you are looking for an event a little easier on the legs.
On Sunday, you can run a 5k in North Olmsted or head to the east side for the Bellefaire JCB biathlon. The biathlon is a 3 mile run and 12 mile bike. Hope to see you out this weekend!
