This weekend Camp Manatoc, a boy scout camp in the Cuyahoga Valley, opens its trails to host the Manatoc Experience. Allowing in the public only one time a year, the weekend is packed with events….trail running race, cross race, mountain bike race, kids races, bike demos, vendors and much, much more. A slew of 5 Mile, 4 Mile and 5k races are also occurring around town. On Saturday, the 21st annual North Coast Challenge 5 Miler will begin at Crocker Park. The event is a celebration of Westlake and the proceeds are given to various charity organizations. One of our very own mini SSSMSTers, Jackson Rood, will put his training to the test as he makes a debut appearance in the kids race. We wish him the best of luck!
The Cleveland Labor Day Oktoberfest fest is taking place at the Cuyahoga County Fair Grounds from Saturday to Monday. With food, live music and a 5k, everyone will be occupied. Go to www.clevelandoktoberfest.com for complete event information.
