The Chili Bowl Classic 5k is this Saturday. After racing your heart out, you get a long sleeve T-Shirt, breakfast, water, beer and mountains of chili samples. (Just what your stomach needs!) The chili is made by your local Cleveland fire stations and all the race proceeds benefit the Metro Burn Center. If you don’t want to race, you can still participate in all the fun activities for a small fee.
On Sunday, if you want to get dirty, go to the Knob and participate in the winter training race series. With all the rain, the trails are sure to be full of fun. Please read the information on the calendar for specific event details including race times and meeting location. The last event of the weekend is a snowshoe race. Looks like you need to bring your running shoes since we are lacking the key ingredient in SNOW shoeing.
