Belated congratulations to SSSMST at Huntington

Well, the race was nearly two weeks ago, but that doesn’t make the Team’s results any less impressive.  In all, we had 12 athletes sporting the blue and green, and we had an entry in every event offered.

Brian Stern took first place in his age group, and fourth overall in the stacked triathlon field, finishing with his usual blistering run.  Anthony Davila and Andy Cornwell both finished third in their age groups.

Joe Bush noted that he had his fastest swim of the year by drafting off of Jim Swim Lamastra, but lost touch on the bike.  Jim had an unfortunately timed flat tire, and washed out in a corner while chasing the race lead.

Check the results page for a full listing of results!  Andrea Lamastra, and the Jackson Family were there with cameras, loud cheers, and lots of cowbell.  If there’s one thing our team needs, it’s more cowbell.  Thanks!

Update:  Some (of many!) pictures now up on our flickr site!
